1.0          Perform an initial evaluation. A written report is available upon request. 

2.0          Clean exterior surfaces or microscope and related components as necessary. 

3.0          Clean optical elements including eyepieces, objectives and final magnification lenses.

4.0          Check and adjust parfocality as necessary. Reset diopter rings to zero.

5.0          Check for concentric alignment of fields of view. Note: Minor adjustments of problems are included. Major adjustments may require repair at additional cost. This is usually only necessary when the scope is not usable or it’s performance is being complained about. 

6.0          Clean and lubricate stage, focus mechanism and all sliding wear surfaces and mechanisms as    necessary. 

7.0          Clean and adjust illumination system as necessary. 

8.0          Clean, center, focus and adjust photo and /or video system as required. 

9.0          Check hardware and fasteners for looseness. Tighten as necessary. 

10.0        Perform minor mechanical adjustments to optimize performance of microscope and accessories as necessary. 

11.0        Report any out of spec. conditions of equipment to customer. Note any actions and or parts required to restore equipment to factory spec’s. Quote repair parts and labor cost upon request.
